Alabama Moves Onto Sunday; Beats Baylor
For the first time in Alabama’s WCWS history, they do not have to play on elimination Saturday. For Bama fans, they just get to sit back and relax and not worry about if Alabama will survive. Kelsi Dunne was once again the story as she gave up no runs. The dirt was against Alabama in the first inning as Kayla Braud slipped and fell and was called out in the bottom of the 1st, possibly costing Bama some runs. Amanda Locke hit a sacrifice fly to score Jennifer Fenton. Whitney Larsen and Kaila Hunt also hit two RBI’s. Alabama only has to win one game Sunday to advance to the WCWS finals.
